Publication of 6th Draft following Public Consultations phases 1-3

The Managing Authority of the Interreg IPA Cross-Border Cooperation «Greece – Albania 2014-2020» Programme, in the context of drafting the new Cooperation Programme for the Programming Period 2021-2027, aiming at the further development of the cross-border partnership, carried out 3 phases of public consultation outlined as below:

The 1st Phase of the Public Consultation was carried out aiming at the identification of the needs and challenges of the eligible area. In addition, it pursued the priorities and specific objectives for the new Programme Strategy, as identified by the stakeholders.The 2nd Phase of the Public Consultation focused on the consultation activities carried out in the framework of the drafting of the new Programme Strategy and its analysis. Under this phase of the consultation, four workshops were organized, one per each proposed priority axis. In addition to the workshops, targeted interviews with representatives from decision making stakeholders took place, along with the questionnaires’ survey.

Finally, the 3rd Phase of the Public Consultation was carried out at operational level between 20 July and the 3rd of September 2021. A survey was conducted in order to determine the final version of the programme. The survey included sections regarding the evaluation of the Programme specific objectives, the evaluation of the intervention fields to be targeted under each specific objective, the evaluation of the output and result indicators selected under each specific objective, and aimed to identify interventions of strategic importance for the programme area.

The relevant calls for the participation at the equivalent public Consultation were published on the website of the Programme ( https://2014-2020.greece-albania.eu/new-programming-period-2021-2027 ). The Programming Committee of the Interreg IPA Cross-Border Cooperation «Greece – Albania 2014-2020» Programme, based on the outcomes of the aforementioned consultations and in the context of its responsibilities has designed the present 6th draft (link) which was transmitted to the equivalent EU bodies.
