The project aims at supporting the exchange of experience and sharing of good practices and policy learning among patners in order to elaborate integrated models for organic waste management in Urban Tourism destinations.
The aim of the project is the implementation & monitoring of an integrated waste prevention & reduction programme for the achievement of a waste reductionn via a)the review of the waste collection & accounting systems & of the related regulatory framework b)promotion of the use of recucled materials c)information,communication campaigns & environmental education
a)Implementation of new methods of waste collection in the summer & winter tourism destinations b)promotion of green public procurement by the municipalities,through the implementation of specific training courses & the introduction of ad hoc procedures in their environmental management systems, c)implementation of Reuse Centre like Composting Centers d) Organic waste prevention & reduction educational kit for children & adults, e)adult info & web portal for giving information& receiving feedback from citizens & waste producers
