1st Call for Strategic Project Proposals

The 1st Call for Project Proposals concerned Strategic Projects and it was open to both Priorities Axes.

Priority Axis 1: Promotion of the environment, sustainable transport and public infrastructure

Thematic Priority (c) Promoting sustainable transport, information and communication networks and services and investing in cross-border water, waste and energy systems and facilities

Specific Objective 1.1 Increase the capacity of CB infrastructure in transport, water & waste management

Priority Axis 2: Boosting the local economy

Thematic Priority (d) Encouraging tourism and cultural and natural heritage

Specific Objective 2.1 Preserve cultural and natural resources as a prerequisite for tourism development of the cross border area

The budget of the 1st Call was 11.000.000€ (of which 9.350.000€ Union Support and 1.650.000€  National Counterpart).

Deadline for applications is 16 May 2016.

Applicants are invited to submit their Strategic Project Proposals targeting both Priority Axes of the Programme between 12 February 2016 and 16 May 2016.

The Programme accepts applications under both Priority Axes:

• Priority Axis 1: Promotion of the environment sustainable transport & public infrastructure

Specific Objective 1.1: Increase the capacity of CB infrastructure in transport, water & waste management

• Priority Axis 2: Boosting the local economy

Specific Objective 2.1: Preserve cultural and natural resources as a prerequisite for tourism development of the cross border area

In order to draft their proposals, it is imperative for applicants to study carefully all Programme documents, including the Cooperation Programme and the Programme & Project Manual, as well as the specific documents related to the Call. Applicants should send their questions electronically to the emails jts_gral@mou.gr. All questions will be grouped and the answers will be uploaded at the Programme’s website

The Partner Search facility for the 1st Call for Strategic Project Proposals is now available!

The Beneficiaries may submit their Project Ideas in the Project Idea Form and send it by email to the jts_gral@mou.gr.

Information Note on the 1st Call for Strategic Project Proposals

The 1st Call for Strategic Project Proposals was officially closed on the 16/05/2016.

Proposals sent by post with registration number until the 16/05/2016 were accepted as eligible until 31/05/2016.
